Invites Veterans, families and all members of the local community to our inaugural Australia Day celebration!
Date: Sunday, 26th January 2025
Time: 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Location: Limbless Soldiers’ Building, 42 Oxlade Drive, New Farm
Program: Throughout the event there will be free tea, coffee and soft drinks, followed by a sausage sizzle on the back lawn from 11:30pm.
Activities: From 10:30am adults and children can enjoy face painting, test their skills at vintage wooden games and engage with the local Navy Cadets skills.
Presentations: There will also be Veteran support material available on the day. The celebration will also provide an opportunity for the public to tour the heritage listed RSL District administration building ground floor and view the military memorabilia.
$5 donations towards the sausage sizzle and activities on the day are very much appreciated.
