The Manly-Lota RSL Sub-Branch Inc was formed in a hut at Nelson Parade MANLY on 26 September 1936. Its original RSL Charter was awarded on 21 September 1936.
About 1950, the Sub Branch took over the Hall at its current location at 184 Melville Terrace. The Sub Branch hosted disabled veterans from Wacol during the 1950s and 1960s.
Today, the Sub Branch maintains strong relationships with local schools. Most of the small community groups meet in the Hall. The Sub Branch also runs the local Anzac Day Parade and Commemorative Service.

Information for members
Manly-Lota RSL Sub-Branch meets at the Memorial Hall, 184 Melville Terrace, MANLY QLD 4179.
Committee Meetings are held on the 1st Saturday of each month commencing at 9am.
Members meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday in February, May, August and November commencing at 9amSocial activities are held throughout the year.
The AGM is held on 2nd Saturday of February each year.
