The Beaudesert RSL Sub-Branch Inc was formed in early 1918, with the original Charter being awarded in 1919, and is one of the oldest in Queensland. The RSL National Council has awarded the Sub Branch with 75th, 85th and 90th Anniversary Certificates.

The Sub Branch built its first offices in Jane St, Beaudesert in 1951, with the building being sold in the early 1960s when the Sub Branch acquired rooms in the then ‘new Council Offices’ in Brisbane St. This facility was later sold back to the Council. The Sub Branch purchased the ‘old Post Office’ in the late 1960s. Today, the Sub Branch owns the Beaudesert RSL Services Club, with Sub Branch offices, Welfare services and Community Bus co-ordination services operating from these premises. The Sub Branch is active in the community with commemorative events, school education and bursary programs, the operation of a Mobile Military Display, and is a contributor to the annual DVA Men’s Health Week. The Sub Branch co-ordinates the Beaudesert ANZAC Day March in conjunction with the Scenic Rim Regional Council.

The Beaudesert RSL Services Club was incorporated in 1991 and is an integral part of the local community; Link to Club website. The Club was renovated in 1998, 2002 and 2005. The Sub Branch was incorporated in 2009, with its current Charter awarded on 27 March 2009.
