Brian Daley (Army)
Brian Daley joined the Australian Army Apprentices School, Balcombe, Victoria 1959 and trained as a Military Vehicle Mechanic. Discharged in 1968 to join the Citizens Military Forces/ Army Reserve achieving the rank of WOl Artificer Sergent Major on retirement in 1994.
Currently President of the Bulimba District RSL Sub Branch from 2018 and a member of the RSL since 1986.
Organiser and Parade Marshal for Anzac Day Dawn Service Morningside, and also for Oxford St, Bulimba Anzac Day March, and Service in Bulimba Memorial Park since 2015.
Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RAEME) Association Qld – Functions Manager and Committee Member. Committee member of RAEME Reserves/CMF Association.
Australian Army Apprentices Association 5th East Qld Representative and convenor of the annual 5th East Qld Army Apprentices Reunion -for the past 24 years.
